Microsoft’s (MSFT) decision to go with Nvidia is a minor disappointment for Qualcomm (QCOM), which announced a Windows 8 partnership with Microsoft at CES. 6/19/2012

BlackRock’s Evy Hambro says his campaign to get gold mining companies to raise their dividends is starting to reap rewards: The very low yields in the sector “are one of the contributing factors that has led to gold shares significantly underperforming the price of gold [but] the gold companies are all now raising their dividends and are trying to catch up with some of their mining sisters.” 6/19/2012
