Peloton (PTON) shares trading 21% higher at 29.83 after rumours that Nike and Amazon (AMZN) approached the company for a potential deal. Two of the major media outlets reported that Peloton is a target. Wall Street Journal wrote that Amazon is exploring bids for PTON, while the Financial Times reported that Nike might be a potential buyer.
Above those reports, analysts believe that Apple might also enter the game.
PTON has lost 16.11% of its value since the beginning of 2022, while the last twelve months has lost almost 80% of its market capitalization.
When does Peloton report Earnings?
Peloton Interactive, Inc. will release its final Q2 Fiscal 2022 results after the U.S. stock market closes on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 and will hold a conference call to discuss the earnings report at 5:00 p.m. (Eastern Time).
Amazon reported a strong quarter the previous week and most analysts upgraded the Amazon price target.
