Adam Aron, the chief executive of AMC Entertainment (AMC) announced in a tweet that his company accepts officially Bitcoin (BTC), Litecoin (LTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Bitcoin Cash, while added that Dogecoin might be next. AMC already accepts Google Pay, Apple Pay and PayPal (PYPL).
Aron said that cryptocurrencies are 14% of the total online transactions for the company. In a tweet back in September Adam Aron announced that the company will accept Ethereum, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash as payment methods by year-end.
AMC stock is 1761% higher in 2021 while the last month has lost 1.52%. The stock yesterday closed at $39.46.
